"O Ferrão de Bilbo é uma arma poderosa", rugiu Glóin. "Precisamos recuperá-lo. Vamos procurar pela trilha."
"Mestre Glóin está certo", disse Arwen, parando então para olhar de Bilbo para os Anões. "E a velocidade é de suma importância... mas Rossiel conhece melhor estas florestas, e ela e eu somos abençoadas com os olhos dos Elfos. Encontraremos a espada e a mochila."
"Não deixarei estas florestas sem Ferrão!" exclamou Bilbo em um sussurro enérgico, para não chamar a atenção de nenhuma criatura próxima.
"E eu não abandonarei Bilbo!" acrescentou Glóin.
Pega de surpresa, Arwen propôs um acordo. "Rossiel e eu assumiremos esta tarefa com Bilbo, mas, bravo Anão, peço humildemente, como Senhora de Valfenda, que primeiro leve a notícia a Beorn e leve em segurança os demais."
Glóin resmungou consigo mesmo por um momento. Embora não estivesse satisfeito, entendeu a importância do pedido dela. "Farei o que pede... relutantemente."
Arwen curvou-se em agradecimento aos anões e, com Rossiel, partiu com Bilbo.

A Mysterious Loss
"Bilbo´s Sting is a mighty weapon," Glóin roared. "We must recover it. Let us search back along the trail."
"Master Glóin is correct." Arwen said, them paused to look from BIlbo to the Dwarves. "And speed is of the utmost importance... but Rossiel knows these woods best, and she and I are blessed with the eyes of the Elves. We will find the sword and pack."
"I will not leave these woods without Sting!" Bilbo exclaimed in an urgent whisper, so as to no draw the attention of any nearby creatures.
"And I will not abandon Bilbo!" Glóin added.
Taken aback, Arwen offered a compromise. "Rossiel and I will take up this task with Bilbo, but, brave Dwarf, I request most humbly as Lady of Rivendell, that you first carry word to Beorn and these return."
Glóin grumbled to himselg a moment. Though not pleased, he understood the import of her request. "I will do as you ask... reluctantly."
Arwen bowed in thanks to the Dwarves, and wit Rossiel made of with Bilbo.
