Alcançando a Caravana
Você não tem tempo nem vontade de seguir a estranha criatura Sméagol. Em vez disso, de dia ou de noite, você perseguirá a caravana Orc para libertar seus prisioneiros, especialmente Bilbo. Você reúne suas coisas e parte.
Sméagol observa você partir. Seus olhos macabros brilham em um amarelo opaco. Depois de alguns instantes, ele se esgueira para dentro das árvores, resmungando para si mesmo. Você se pergunta se verá o miserável novamente. Você espera que não.
A caravana é facilmente rastreada e você avança em boa velocidade. Mesmo assim, o dia já passou quase todo antes de você ouvir o leve ruído de rodas à sua frente. Exultante por ter alcançado sua presa, você apressa os passos, na esperança de surpreender e subjugar a retaguarda da caravana.
Na excitação, você se esquece de considerar o nariz e os ouvidos aguçados dos Goblins. Ao contornar um bosque de árvores mortas, você de repente se vê diante de um grupo de inimigos, alertas e com as armas em punho.
Que surpresa!

On the Trail
Catching the Caravan
You have neither time nor inclination to follow the strange Sméagol creature. Rather, by day or dark, you´ll chase down the Orc caravan to free its captives, especially Bilbo. You gather your packs and set off.
Sméagol watches you go. His ghoulish eyes glow dull yellow. After a few moments, he slinks away into the trees, muttering to himself. You wonder whether you´ll see the wretch again. You hope not.
The caravan is easily tracked and you make good time. Even so, the day is mostly spent before your hear the faint noise of rolling wheels ahead. Exultant to have reched your quarry, you hasten your steps, hoping to surprise and overwhelm the caravan´s rearguard.
In the excitement, you forget to consider the keen noses and sharp ears of Goblins. As you round a copse of dead trees, you suddenly find yourself facing a group of enemies, alert and weapons ready.
So much for surprise.
